Make your own FlyPlate Lids
The original individual fly storage cover was developed in conjunction with the de Bivort Lab at Harvard University, and the design files are available for anyone to make their own. These covers will fit most 96 well plates, and include space for magnets to keep the covers on the plates.

What you'll need:
- A laser cutter/engraver
- 1/16" acrylic sheet (we recommend clear, but you can use any color)
- 1/4" acrylic sheet (we recommend black, but again, any color will work)
- Thin nylon mesh (available from McMaster-Carr, part number 9318T21)
- Acrylic solvent welding cement (available from McMaster-Carr, part number 7528A13, or locally at Tap Plastics)
